Week 8 EOC

The easiest way to seduce some one is using underlying persistence with a small tune.  Imagine you’re in the car and you hear a 10 second tune about strawberry ice cream covered in chocolate orbs. And at the end there is a little quick word play that would stick in you mind. A lot like puppy monkey baby and mountain dews Kickstart. Although the puppy monkey baby had nothing to do with mountain dew it was the weirdness and obscurity of it. A ten second audio add could in comparison do the same thing. I asked a lot of people what there favorite part of the kickstart commercial was, most responded with music and then lyrics behind the commercial as compared to the physical images of the commercial itself. Even though it featured a SGI puppy monkey baby. If good enough tune and lyrics were put together we could almost replicate the effect of it. And what I am trying to get with this is not just simple advertising and growth with a product. We are trying to introduce staying power. I want somebody to say something like that little puppy monkey baby slogan and the guy next to him go wow I really could use a Berry Bomb right now. It is that subliminal messaging that will further are market. Although it will be a little tough if we were able to get any amazing instrumental with catchy weird lyrics we could forever be attached to the consumers brainstem. Every time they heard are little tune there mouths would a salivate and they would be immediately craving are delicious treat. Although visual ads are good I do believe there is something different about a catchy jingle and weird funny lyrics that cause something in the consumer brain to spark.

WEEK 7 EOC: The Pitch

Imagine its 102 degrees outside and you need a small portable snack that won't get in the way but will fill you up. I am pretty sure this is a problem all of us have had at one time or another. Now just imagine a small cylinder with a reusable cap. Within this cylinder are a dozen or so small delicious chocolate orbs. Now within these chocolate orbs are going to be strawberry ice cream. This frozen delectable treat is good for everybody. Kids would love it and it would be the choice of any sleepover. Dad would love it because it is quick and gives him energy. And mom, well she loves chocolate and strawberry it is that simple. We could even pair with dove to create more expensive product by just adding dark chocolate. Obviously this product is not only easy to make but also easily expandable to different markets. Its only real drawback is it is a frozen good witch tend to drop in sale during winter. However, with its red and white pink color scheme it will go with every holiday. A dozen of the cylinder containing the lovely treat will be in a box. Easily thousands would purchase and this little treat just because it small cute and really tasty. Think whether you live in 105-degree weather and hot night party’s like ours here in Vegas. Or your chillen on a beach in California during sunset, or even wrapped up in a blanket at home in front of a fire with some red wine and a book. It does not matter this little treat is perfect for any situation. Because it combines two of nature’s greatest combos. Strawberry and Chocolate, simple but perfect.

Week 6 EOC: Me x3

Tech N9ne White Football Jersey
It is overall white jersey with red lettering. A IX on the front and the name on the back being Tech N9ne. I bought it my self and it is my favorite jersey out of all them. I purchased it because I had been wanting a new jersey for while and this was the newest ones. It fits me perfectly and I feel I am not to be played with when I have it on. It is more then just a jersey it is almost like a knight putting on armor.



My Rose Tinted Glasses
Truly my best purchase to date. They are half frame. A beautiful burgandy on the side with a bronze like frame above the lenses. Then the lenses are a beautiful rose tint. I myself got these. When I put these on I truly feel different. Everyone says I resemble Johnny Depp with them on. My confidence went up when I got them and could not imagine any glasses without them. They also help seeing as I work in a artificially lit mall.



Burts Bees Pomegranate Shampoo
My favorite thing to pick up its my shampoo and conditioner. I love Burt's Bees products so when I saw the shampoo and conditioner I snatched it. It makes my hair smell amazing and take really good care of my hair as well. Which is a major thing with me seeing as we do live in the desert so it is very dry. Burt's Bees always has great products and this is my new favortie.

Week 5 EOC: This is what has my interest

This really caught my attention because I currently work near the residancey spot for Brittney and JLO. I can tell you it is always banging for the weekly performaces. But to bring sombody as new as Bruno Mars who less then two years ago was a super bowl headliner I feel would bring counless more tourest in. This caught my attention soley becasue it could mean some big changes for us where I work and also this city.

This one got me because it really made me upset due to the fact that this industry is about music which is universal. You should not have bias cast upon you for something you cant control, such as gender. It even been statistically proven woman are better audio engineers and the fact they are being pushed out for the main fact of there gender. Well I can tell you for a fact 60% of my epmployees in studio will be female.

This ones big. With the release of Suicide Squad and in my opinion the first dc movie EVERYONE said at least it was pretty good a lawsuit of course would soon follow. And it has nothing to do with any of the actors or producers. It has to do with a leaked song form the Suicide Squad track list. Depending on how this goes we could see some flares of creative ownership. And another major announcement Harley Quinn is getting her own movie.

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games

The video game market is ever changing and completely diversified from what it use to be. The current star of this market is apparent and at the tap of a finger. Video game apps. And now with the release of Pokémon Go it seems there is now a market for bringing old games to smartphones."A diversification strategy can be risky when a firm is entering unfamiliar markets. However, it can be very profitable when a firm is entering markets with little or no competition." (MKTG9TH, 17)The obvious cash cow in this is the big consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox. They continue to see slow increase in profit and have a hold on there completion they metaphorically just cant drop the controller while the battle between smartphone and home console rage on. Week 4 EOC: Build A Better App

In audio engineering there is couple art forms. One of the most important is a final step known as mastering. My idea is for an app that you could download your music into. You would then pick a song you wanted to work on. Then the app would de master the song and then walk you through how to master the song step by step. Making it an interactive talk through game. It would be a must have for audio engineering beginners. It would allow you to also walk through how to semi master your own music. As long as you downloaded the extra conversion app for an extra .50c. This would allow young engineers to start getting there hands on equipment that they would not be able to afford other wise. This would be an industry standard app therefore most mastering programs would aid material to the app. This app is an overall win it would generate revenue, bring kids into a new side of music and the development of it. As well as teaching people the proper way to master. This actually bring around a new era of better sounding music. It would also be a big step in the independent music world.

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

War divides music connects, I completely agree. Musicians without borders are a non-profit that spreads music to all different nations in tragedy and poverty.  It connects local musicians from all across the world. It has multiple different programs from Ireland to Bosnia’s. It also aids in music therapy across the world.“sustainability the idea that socially responsible companies will outperform their peers by focusing on the world's social problems” pg42 , MKTG“The social responsibility of businesses is growing around the world.” Pg43, MKTG“social responsibility can be profitable” Pg, 42, MKTGThis company is very close to one I would like to start myself and helps spread the love of music across the world and I find that incredible. They go to so many different places and use music to teach and communicate because music is the one language that transcends all races and religions. I find this organization to be truly one of great importance and I hope to be able to make a large donation to them in the future to help there cause.

Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service

My favorite Chinese place is named China AA. They are around the corner from my house and they are fast and constantly reliable. I feel like there customer service is constant and never failing. I always order the same thing, chicken fried rice with no onion and cucumber rolls. It is one of my favorite dinners. It literally only takes them 6 minutes to make it and less than 10 min to deliver it. Thus making it a fast cheap delicious dinner that I can save and reheat later. I have ordered there over 50 times and they have messed only twice and when I called they immediately sent out the right order. The best part about there customer service is it is constant which is a major component of a good company. It is one thing to have good customer service one time but to continuously provide that type of service is how you run a successful growing company and keep customers. I will continue to go back to this company because it is fast cheap and provides and amazing customer service every time.

Week 1 EOC: My Voice

As it stands right now at 10:57 am on Thursday the fourteenth of July I have not been surer of anything than this in my entire life. I would say my love for audio and music started long before I was even a thought. Both grandfathers on either side of my family were big band musicians during the hay day of Old Vegas. My father would follow in the musician aspect as a guitarist and very good one. I was born to be an artist and musician. I have spent year’s practicing in both classical music then moving to new school lyricism and rap. To engage in to the audio industry fully professional is a hard thing to do but something I look forward to. I have spent years practicing my art. But there is something deeper then that. It is in my blood but no one in my family has taken it as far as I am planning to. As an audio engineer I plan to revolutionize the game in many different aspects. Music is just the start in my master plan and with the talent and dedication I possess I will not let anything get in my way. Vance means protector and defender of the marshes and I find that very ironic. The music business is much like the marshes hard to move in, hard to see clearly and you never know what’s or who’s next to you. And although I am ok with all types of expression I feel as if the musical marshes are being polluted and destroyed by the musically impaired and less rehearsed. As an audio engineer I plan to use what I know to ensure the over all protection of the beautiful musical marshes we call the music business.
